By remembering CARI in your will you can provide a lasting gift to the children and teenagers of Ireland. When we receive a gift we ensure that the wishes of the deceased are carried out with care and respect. Gifts in your will to a charity for charitable purposes are not subject to tax.
There are three of charitable legacies.
- Pecuniary is a gift of a specific amount of money.
- Residuary is a share of the rest of your asset that you have not already committed.
- Specific is a gift of a specific asset.
If you already have made a will and wish to include a gift to the CARI Foundation you can simply add a codicil (addition) this can be easily done by your solicitor.
If you have not yet prepared a will, simply contact your solicitor or ask family and friends to refer you to one. Making a will is easy and inexpensive.
We at CARI are extremely grateful for any amount we receive and can guarantee your gift will help children for years to come.
