Why CARI needs Volunteers:
CARI provided over 2,800 hours of therapy services to children and families affected by child sexual abuse last year. We provide child-centred therapies to help children and teenagers to feel safe in their world. This enables them to explore their experiences and feelings at their own pace in their own way. It also helps them to develop healthy ways of coping with the impact of sexual abuse.
Children and teenagers use different mediums to share and explore their experiences. This can range from playing including messy play, to using art, dancing, music or talking to express themselves. But in order to maintain and extend our vital therapy services, we need the help of volunteers like you.

As a fundraising volunteer it’s up to you to decide how much time to give, and when. This allows you to fit your CARI volunteering around your other commitments.
