To support our strategy and due to the increased demand for our service, we are seeking to recruit a panel of part-time Psychotherapists nationally.
Children at Risk in Ireland is a registered charity founded in 1989 and is currently the leading provider of professional, child centred therapy services to children, families and groups who have been affected by child sexual abuse. CARI’s therapy services provide therapy to children 18 and under who have been affected by sexual abuse and children aged 12 and under who present with sexually harmful behaviour.
Part-Time Psychotherapist Role:
The role involves the provision of psychotherapy to children and adolescents affected by child sexual abuse. The role also includes therapeutic interventions with parents or carers of the young person. Previous experience of working therapeutically with children is vital, as is an ability to work within a team environment. Reporting directly to the Clinical Director to ensure quality in service delivery and consistency in approach. Individual and group supervision will be provided.
The ideal candidates will have:
- Experience of providing psychotherapy to children and adults.
- Primary or higher degree in related discipline.
- Recognized psychotherapy qualification.
- Knowledge of Children First Guidance.
- Ability to work as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
- Psychotherapy Accreditation.
