In addition to raising money for a great charity you will also de-clutter your home; getting rid of the unwanted and unused things that take up limited space.  Anything can be sold in a spring clean from books to toys and clothes.

What To Do

• Gather all the unwanted items in your home. Make sure they are not damaged and are of a suitable standard for re sale.
• Assign a price you would like each product to be sold at
• Make sure your friends and family are aware of the event you plan to hold and encourage them to bring along further friends and family if you can facilitate a large crowd.
• This may also be a good opportunity for friends to bring their unwanted items from home in order to fundraise a larger amount for the charity.
• If you plan on having a large amount at the spring clean out make sure to have a number of volunteers assisting you to set up, handle the money and help in selling.
• Make sure you have a large amount of change available to give to customers as they buy products.

With many people gathered together this is also a good opportunity to sell baked goods and drinks to the potential customers for further funds for the charity.
